The doctors had to shave a large section of Sherrin's head in order to insert a monitor into her brain to see how much her brain would swell.

I feel helpless…..I am so proud of both of you. What can I do to help her recovery? I know not much from this far away….but anything would make me feel better. I am going to try to come out after Sherrin comes home…I am having surgery to replace my knee on 2/15. But once I am off and running I will try to come out. Part of my timing issues depend on Pat’s health. I love you all.

Hi Kaci, my name is Nancy Baldwin Reid and am an old high school friend of your mom. Please tell Careen I think often of her and you are all in my prayers. You are a very strong young lady. Thank you for letting us know how your sister is doing and how your familiy is doing. Please give Careen my love and tell her I miss her.

  5. God bless you all as you go through this. Prayers, prayers and patient perseverence will get you through! My brother Bill had a TBI in 1959 and was in a coma for six weeks. He also had to learn to walk again, feed himself, etc. Stay strong!

  6. Sherrin,

We didn’t hang out except for when I’d see you at school and at NVCC. but I am following your story.. You’re truly an inspiration..and the one thing I’d always remember about you was your tenacity, your determination, and perseverance. That will get you through this.

Stay strong. Your progress is really showing.

God bless you and your family.

    -Rebecca
